I was wondering why I got this weird, random positive news story about him in my feed. Now I realize it is likely PR planted. Thank you to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni for helping to make spotting these things a little more obvious.

I’m very surprised they are still together and *appear* happy, lasted way longer than most. But she did mess up her face with plastic surgery.

Good for him; I can respect his hustle. I don't get why anyone cares if some random celebrity "gets a real job." And no, I am not Spencer. I had to Google him to see what he looked like. And I still don't recognize him. I never watched that Laguna show, so that's probably why.

I like them. Spencer is a character but he’s been with Heidi for close to 20 years and clearly supports her. They don’t bother me and hustling to stream music doesn’t hurt anyone. They also seem dedicated to their kids.

That’s easily several million dollars they stand to inherit, if they haven’t already inherited money from parents and grandparents. What indication is there that they have trust funds? My parents are "multi-millionaires," and they haven't given me any financial assistance since I finished school. "multi-millions" could mean $3m, which is just enough to retire and pay for old age, or $100m, which might put them in trust fund territory. I haven't seen any indication that either of their parents is so rich that they have trust funds.

I haven't really followed Spencer as an adult, but he was my least favorite character on The Hills.

I found him popping up on my FYP a lot after the fire and started watching some of his videos. He seems pretty harmless. I remember avoiding him years ago when I heard he was really into crystals, but his hummingbird content is pretty wholesome. Also, his recent videos in dealing with the fire aftermath have been pretty funny because he has a dry, sarcastic humor that I enjoy.

I think it's sweet that his followers are streaming Heidi's music nonstop to help out. I'm too shallow re: my Spotify wrapped to do that, though. I've gone back and viewed all his videos and engaged with them so that will help get him extra money, I think.

As for his unused PoliSci degree, eh. I have so many friends from wealthy families who have big degrees from top universities that are completely unused. At least Spencer is doing SOMETHING to support himself and his family instead of just leeching off his rich parents. Very few who come from his level of wealth ever use their degrees or do anything productive other than live off their trust funds. Also, do we really want someone who took 10 years to get their degree practicing? Nah. Let's be real. He's harmless but he also seems a bit smooth-brained.

NP- His dad is a dentist and still working. Heidi's family has many issues (won't post here, you can look it up) that I am sure are traumatic to her. And her mom is also working, as some sort of counselor. Out of all the people to slam for extreme wealth, not sure they make the cut.

The people posting negatively about Heidi and Spencer during this time need to look at their values. I appreciate that he is using his platform to try to secure housing for his family. There is nothing wrong with his hustle. You may find him annoying or try hard but Spencer is totally in on the joke.
