Travel regrets

I don't understand why you'd go to a coastal town with "by the sea" in the name and choose not to go see the ocean and then regret it?

That's different from not knowing some attraction was in a place while you were there.

Like PPs yes this has happened to me but more like "oh darn wish I knew about that" rather than some deep lasting regret.

Same though there was SO much to see and do in South Africa! I half planned a trip to Mozambique but was just having too much fun in SA that I never went.

DH just returned from a trip to Mozambique and he said you didn’t miss anything.

That’s contrary to about everyone else I know who has traveled to or lived in Mozambique!
