I’m sorry, but if this is a surprise to anybody, then you are not as bright as you think you are. Part of the reason why I don’t want a Tesla is because of the interior cameras, recording the driver. It’s invasive and while I like the idea of a Tesla, the privacy concerns are too much for me to overcome. Of course the recording you and of course they have access and of course anything that’s recorded and digitized can and will get out there.
What other car companies have cameras INSIDE the car, ono the driver?
No Tesla sent techs to the site of the crash and without warrants surrender video, tracking data and voluntarily released other Tesla drivers’ data without consent. Tesla uses license plate readers, facial recognition and other types of AI software with its systems. The FBI has repeatedly praised Tesla for its willingness to turn over this information. This would be like Apples unlocking your iPhone and turning over not just your emails, text, tracking data, web history, etc but all of the same data from all your contacts, any businesses you interacted with and anyone who came in close proximity without a warrant. Tech people who have left Tesla say the company has a lot more information vs what other companies generate and has no privacies concerns about selling or turning it over to law enforcement without a warrant. So no it is not like other companies. Specially with Musk and maga disregard for the constitution. |
Privacy is merely another reason not to buy a Tesla…
Tesla has a history of privacy issues. Just google it.
