| If you still gift for birthdays, stop the Christmas gifts now. Then, decide on an age to stop with the birthday gifts. My sons were the oldest cousins so I told my sister and SIL to stop after high school. |
| I gave them gifts until they graduated college since they were on shoestring budgets all the way through and finding appropriate gifts was easy. I have resumed with the one niece who is a newly single sole custody mom of two and rarely spends on herself. She should get treated. |
Yes. Everyone gets birthday and Christmas presents until they are 18 and then they get a graduation present and then that's it. |
| I stopped at random ages because I Never, Ever heard anything from my nieces and nephews regarding the gifts. It seems like they didn’t care much about it, so why should I? So one year, I just stopped. |

| I still do gifts, bc they haven't reached that age yet, but I plan to cease birthday gifts at 18. I'll give then something for graduation and other major life events after that. |
Same. I was sending our nieces on my husband's side gifts until they were in their mid-twenties. My SIL stopped with my kids when they were in their teens. She also stopped birthday cards at the same time. I don't care that they don't get money or gift cards for their birthday, but I think it's odd that she doesn't even acknowledge their birthdays with a simple card/text/phone call. |
| 18/end of high school makes sense. I plan to gift my nephews through their last Christmas at home, and the high school graduation, then done! All gifts cards or money at that point. |
