What an odd name for a perfume. |

I am obsessed with Dyptique ... amazing. Try it. |
| My 19 Year old DD likes it and asked for it for Christmas. They are all very into lotion, candles, makeup, etc |
| Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb is my go-to for date night |

Similar thread earlier this year - turns out people are still wearing it! https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/25/1198875.page As in all things, there can be a balance between dousing yourself so it bothers others and a subtle perfume. It's very trendy! Way beyond tweens/sol de Janiero. As PP said lots of new niche brands |
And these women are still wearing perfume… |
| My favorites are Jo Malone English Pear & Fresia and Maison Margiela Lazy Sundays |
| Stop with all the juvenile ew, you stink posters. Some women love a nice scent, and many men appreciate it too. I’m a woman who doesn’t wear much makeup, never polish my nails and keep them trim, and wear simple clothes and bags available to the masses (ideally thrifted). Perfume adds beauty. I can still remember my late mom’s favorite perfumes. She was elegant and understated, and wore it just for special occasions. Event leaves an impression. |
Totally agree. Love perfume |
| My tween daughter just asked for Clinique Happy. When so many things seem to change, many stay the same. I'll probably buy her the skincare kit too. |
|
My teen daughters (16 and 18) asked for perfume for Christmas --replica brand, different scents.
I wear le labo rose 31. It's rose with a spicy clove layer. truly unisex. It's definitely a personal fragrance--stays close to the skin but makes my clothing smell amazing. |
| Teens - 20s, yes. Then 60+. Doesn’t seem like women in their 30s-50s wear it. |
Same. I was with various people wearing perfume and love that whiff. They wear perfume right. It’s a hint and not overpowering. OP |
