They're all offensive.

We have? can you please tell that to the crazy amount of people who smoke cigarettes and more recently, weed in public that we all have to smell? I can’t even walk into most stores without smelling weed which i’m incredibly sensitive to. So no, I don’t think people care about others the way you think they do. Perfume smells better than 2nd hand smoke.

Just don't wear it to work or places where people will be stuck next to you, like on an airplane or the theatre.

I love perfume if done right (subtle and clean smelling).

It is, it's a major growth area in the beauty industry. It's the crotchety old moms on DCUM with their oh-so-sensitive sniffers that are out of touch.

Like a PP said, the smaller niche brands are in very high demand over department store.

Sol de Janeiro and similar sprays are very popular with that age group.

I like Kayali Pistachio, Vacation (it's literally called Vacation by Vacation), and Zodica Perfumery Leo.

+1 There's a group of DCUMers who view everything as tacky - nail polish, perfume, designer bags, Cartier love bracelets - in their search for the ultimate WASP preppy old-money aesthetic.

This is very true. My nieces, ranging in age from 14 to 20, all asked for perfume for Christmas this year.
