I moved from biology to being a biotech ghostwriter. Basically I ghostwrite articles and website copy for biotech startups. Work 4 hours a day max and basically charge whatever I want.

I would LOVE to do this. I do a lot of health care writing in my current role. How do I find work in this area?

Our school nurse has had to call an ambulance at least five times this year from allergic reactions to concussions. She's responsible for keeping track of all the medications in the clinic and administering any during the day. She makes sure that stock-brand Epipens are available, update all the health alerts in the student information system (not low tech), and must pull and provide all medications and emergency inhaler/epipens for field trips. She must also get into arguments with parents who refuse to pick up their children when they are running a fever or have vomited in the classroom/lunch room. This job is not low stress.

I once worked at a high end department store as a gift wrapper during the holidays. It was alot of fun and extremely low stress. No tech required at all. Got to meet a couple celebrities as well. That’s my suggestion.
