"your job is to bring the corn" - thanksgiving potluck. How to make the best corn?

Does your family view the corn as one of the "healthy" vegetables. If yes, I think the succotash suggestion would be my go to. If your family doesn't care about healthy, corn pudding is amazing.

I bring corn pudding to friendsgiving every year and it's one of the first things to go. Even the low-carb people seem to like it.

Show up with Fritos. Potluck dinners are disgusting, anyway.

This corn pudding recipe is classic: https://www.southernliving.com/recipes/tees-corn-pudding-recipe

And for creamed corn, I love this one: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/53304/cream-corn-like-no-other/

I have a crap ton of organic frozen yellow corn. From there, I'm wide open.

Please make my corn outstanding.

How do you make corn?

Yes, please bring guac with corn in it to Thanksgiving 🤢

OP, you need to find out what your host wants.

I love that corn pudding, and so does about half of my family. But the other half thinks it's gross/too much like dessert.

Some traditionalists really just want a bowl of plain boiled corn with butter and salt.

I would ask the host.

Mexican. Street. Corn. Google "elotes in vaso recetas" and hit translate for authentic street corn off the cob recipes.

Omg is this a joke? cream cheese, heavy cream and a stick of butter...yikes!

Have you thought about dried corn? It’s so easy to you add a tablespoon of butter and some sugar and just heat it.
