She sure is. Better than JD Vance who acts like an awkward space alien.

Bad candidate. Going to lose.

The first and now second generation Indians are making a big impact in US journalism, media, government and shifting toward politics. Between these Indians and their Hispanic counterparts, I think this country has a much better future than if we left it to the whites and blacks.

She isn’t African-American/American Descendant of Slavery.

Her father is of Jamaican and British heritage and is a descendant of both slaves and a slave owner. American are not yet ready for an African American whose ancestors came to the country as slaves. Obama was born to a black Kenyan father and a white American mother. Harris parentage is similarly biracial and not directly from Africa.

* of partial south Asian origin. She was born in US to a Jamaican father and south Asian mother, both of whom later accepted American nationality.

The media doesn't even mention her as an Asian American or Asian-African-American except when convenient. Trump is one of the few people who has consistently called her Asian and that's pretty pathetic because he was denying she was black.

She is consistently shouting out her incredible South Asian mother Shyamala, there's a post about Shyamala on Kamala's social media almost every few days. Kamala has also kept using her Indian (Sanskrit) name and not Americanized it (looking at you Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley)./quote]

DP. Going to stop you right there. Nikki Haley does indeed use her birth name, given to her by her Sikh parents. She was born Nimarata Nikki Randhawa and has been called Nikki since birth. It is a Punjabi name meaning "little one." So you can stop spreading your BS misinformation about her name. She is proudly Indian and has never tried to whitewash her heritage or her name.

Oh well in THAT case it was profoundly intelligent and the most accurate observation ever made about Indian Americans.
