Like Osama BinLaden, Sinwar headed a designated terrorist organization: Hamas.

And Hamas - under Sinwar’s command- has terrorized Gazans for years.

We can all agree Hamas is the enemy of all Palestinians.

Hopefully this death (if confirmed) leads to the end of fighting, release of the hostages, and peace in the Middle East.

Look you just sentences your “hostages” to death. Though Israelis do not care about the hostages. Kill Sinwar means all the hostages die.

Also Sinwar has nothing in common with Osama. Sinwar, Hamas and Hezbollah are fighting to take back their homes which the Israel stole from them. They are not at war with the west but Israel. You need to be honest with yourself and learn the history of the region.

Israel murdered, terrorized and ethically cleansed Palestine. Now you cry, gnash your teeth and yell terrorist when the Palestinians try to take back their homes the same way you took the land from them?

Solve the root cause. Palestinians need to be given full citizenship, compensation for pain & suffering and right to return. Starving to death 2.3 million people out of 7 million is a holocaust not a solution.

The hostages Sinwar surrounded himself with were the six who were killed by Hamas when the IDF neared. It shows how in disarray and scared Sinwar was that he did not surround him with new hostages. Since Sinwar was so extreme and fanatic there is now actually more hope for the hostages to be released if someone more moderate assumes leadership.

What would Israel do if the situation was reversed? All Israel has done is guarantee the next Hamas or Hezbollah leaders(or whatever the next group is) will strike when they can. They will never negotiate because Israel kills anyone who negotiates with them. There is no point in taking prisoners or hostages because they are not worth anything to Israel. So you kill them instead.

Look at Hezbollah. The leader was a moderate who did not attack Israel with an all out attack or use its best weapons. What did that get him - dead and the majority of their asset destroyed. That was because he was weak and did not attack Israel when Israel was slaughtering civilians in Gaza. The new leader will not rise if they are preaching moderation.

They will rebuild, rearm, attack and be very aggressive, much more likely to use chemical or biological weapons.

Sinwar knew he was going to be kill when he attacked Israel. He showed the world what Israel is. Now Israel is fighting a three front war with no allies except the US and no end it sight.

+1 There’s a reason we’re only supposed to have one thread about this.

+2. I’m sure on DCUM sinwar will be given the “we don’t say negative things about the deceased for 48 hours” treatment. A bunch of terrorist sympathizers here

No one sympathizes with Israel.

Yahya died curled up in a near fetal position - like the coward he is. Today is an extraordinarily good day.

Couldn’t have died in a better fashion, no hostages.

That you put the word hostages in quotation marks tells us all we need to know about you.

lol no one cares in Israel about the “hostages” and nether do you. Where was your outrage when Israel killed “hostages”? Where was your mock rage when the families are attacked? No, you do not care. You just want to deflect away from the root cause of Israel’s endless killing and holocaust. Why don’t you go ver to Gaza and get your hands dirty?

Why don’t you go over to Gaza on a Hamas solidarity mission?

I am an American unlike you. I do not have a dog in this fight but I know a terrorist state when I see it. Israel is the equivalent of North Korea, Russia and Nazi Germany. Go to Gaza and Lebanon. Lots of civilians to kill.

Everyone except Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, AOC.

Sadly we have enough Hamas supporters in the US I almost wonder if there is another brigade here.

The real head of the hydra is Iran. Israel would be doing the world a huge favor if they manage to eliminate Iran.

speculation on X is the rest of the hostages were disbursed (many no longer in Gaza) and some were "sold" to other terror groups (PIJ) for weapons cache.

Don't think we were ever going to see them again. That was even before today.
