Anyone else concerned about Kamala's advertising or lack thereof?

If you don't think she's killing it, you're old.

Her folks are focusing on getting out the vote at this point. Ads on Monday Night Football aren't where it's at.

I don't think it's a lack of advertising. You just don't remember her, because she's not very memorable.

I'll take the bait. Kamala's greatest hits are a litany of her owning men (even Joe Biden when she talked about being bussed to school). She's damn memorable if you aren't fragile.

Times have changed. Her ads are on YouTube.

Have you seen the stats on who has cable these days? It’s mostly old people who like cable news. Those aren’t the voters Harris is trying to woo. They’ve already decided who they’re voting for this year.

I see constant ads - I watch jeopardy! but also stream some content on YouTube (British comedy shows), and use YT exercise videos. I see lots of Harris ads.

…she can afford them, and to reach that critical younger voter, unlike….

What is the tagline that's going to get people off their couch in November? Cos it's not coconut trees. So much $ being thrown at this and to me this is a major missing piece.

Are you kidding? To be the most powerful leader in the world isn’t it enough that she grew up in a middle-class home, has a boisterous laugh, ignored the border, and isn’t white?

Maybe she's scared and overwhelmed. She was only set up as the nominee just recently and has never had to really be on the campaign trail or in the public eye much before now, and I'd assume it's overwhelming.

she's not a 6 year old taking her first swim class she's a candidate for president and former district attorney who holds the fate of democracy in her hands.

That's really scary and appalling.

Being 'scared and overwhelmed' is not an option. If she's too scared and overwhelmed to run the correct campaign then step aside and let someone less overwhelmed do it.

For sure, but isn't it too late for that now since voting has already begun, which is also ridiculous that it has started so early.

Wow. Thank you so much for this concerned not at all trolling, “multiple” PPs. Do you think perhaps Joe or Doug could stand with her during her next interview and hold her hand, since you “3” seem to have correctly diagnosed her as “scared and overwhelmed” because you’re not getting inundated with ads during football broadcasts on cable? Thank you so much for the analysis.

You really shit yourself when you see how you’ve already lost. Get a grip.

Young people don’t show up to vote.

Voter turnout for presidential elections for people age 18-24 is always under 50%. Tik Tok videos catering to teenagers will not generate votes either because people under 18 can’t vote.

Millennials watch YouTube. Tik Tok is huge, not just under 18. Good thing you’re not an advertising you don’t understand the current medium market.

Voter turnout in 2020 was 55%. https://www.statista.com/statistics/984745/youth-voter-turnout-presidential-elections-us/

Unlike Trump assuming he’s got this, Harris and her team are putting in the work and advertising where they think they’re going to pick up any voters and where they’re going to remind people to go vote.

Exactly. I spend a lot of time on YouTube and see her ads constantly (and very few Trump ads).

How much does advertising work?

No, I’m not concerned.

I see ads all the time. You downplay social media as “cute,” which is interesting.

Plenty of folks get their news from TikTok and don’t watch football.

Yikes. You don’t understand the power of TikTok.

Many well-educated folks in their 30s use TikTok and they use it as a main news source.

I guess you missed the research on how major media has less reach. That’s why Harris is appearing on Howard Stern and Call Your Daddy. Yes, I know these are not ads but the point is she is reaching for additional audiences that Trump is not bothering with…
