Ellen comedy special on Netflix

Ellen has never been funny.

I loved her style of humor - at least in the beginning. When my son was a newborn (he's now 17), he was, let's just say, a little difficult. I did all I could to get him to nap when Ellen was on, at least for an hour or so. It was such a nice reprieve and I credit that show with keeping me sane during that time.

Didn't watch for a while - going back to work, etc. - but I remember watching an episode where she had some audience members go inside a glass chamber and once the door closed, dollar bills would fly all around. Whatever they could "catch" would be theirs. She just sat back and laughed. I thought it was in poor taste and felt sorry for those Ellen fans who were humiliating themselves on national TV.

Kind of reminds me of David Letterman. He started out being so funny, sarcasm was part of the deal, but after so many years he became a complete a**. It's not just Ellen.

I wonder what happens to them?
