Episcopal is legit. My daughter has played them numerous soccer games!

But the other three are bizarre to be on this list. Never heard of them. Are they for profit, like Basis? Are they rigging the rankings like Northeastern did with USNWR? LOL

This is how I know these rankings are ridiculous. Academy of the Holy Cross ahead of Georgetown Visitation.

A lot of defensive parents here.

Congrats to Sidwell, BIM, and Madeira.

Episcopal is legit. Lavish campus, solid academics, it’s even prestigious, has all the sports/ activities you could ask for, great location, and pretty much anything you could ask for in a school.
Not spoken of much here because most people are looking for day schools and not boarding.

It’s still weird how little it is discussed.

I bet if Exeter was located 10 miles from here it would be discussed all the time.

Take that back. I think Exeter takes day students, but if it only too boarders it would be spoken of as maybe a little more than Foxcroft, Episcopal, Woodberry Forest, etc.

I’m sure GDS was just joking because…logic, reason, and common sense.

While BIM uses an old office building only half built-out, operates an AP grind test factory, begs for recognition but is mostly ignored on DCUM except when they hype these rankings, has a tiny crust of activities and sports that fit on the astroturfed parking lot and the tiny gym and theater, is located snug up against 267, and has pretty much nothing else to commend it.

Niche's rankings are so shoddy they make US News and World Report's rankings look like the pinnacle of excellence.

Veritas is a classical school that is part of a network owned by a Chinese firm.

Pinnacle is run by Gulen.

Ideaventions is an extremely small school with extremely bright students. Half their senior class last year and this year have been national merit semi-finalists. This is a pretty good advertisement for being legitimate.

Sore loser.

Too bad the data say otherwise.

BIM had more NMSF per capita than any other school in the DMV including Sidwell and TJ.

Same with college acceptances.

What's the criteria? Any ranking is meaningless unless it is based on meaningful criteria that is publicly available.

These are ridiculous. In no world is NCS behind Holton or Madeira. Please.

That was quite a non sequitur, desperately trying to pull attention off the meager facilities and location. Can you play varsity sports on the NMSF field?

Dodging an issue is called evasion. Not a good look.
