BIM is TJ lite. And to add insult to injury the parents have to pay! |
Exactly! BIM parents are paying for public school. |
Plenty of us are calling it rigged even when our team is "winning." |
These are the cringey, obviously either bot-generated or BIM-office generated comments that are the flashing red lights on any possible acceptance that it's a legitimately mainstream good school. |

I don't remember the last a big 3 or big 5 private school had produced a Regeneron/Intel scholar. I mean between that, their NMSFS ratio and college placements, I can see why Sidwell & Co feel threaten by BIM. They are disturbing the status quo and the pecking order of things" These are the comments that send off the BS-O-METER. |
You seem insecure and feel threaten by BIM. |
I mean, private school parents have been paying for inferior products for a long time. It's nothing new. |
Your insecurities are showing. |
Ok, tell us exactly what’s the BS from what the poster posted? |
No one decided to "dig a little deeper" and came back with an esoteric scholarship winner. They then "didn't remember" that a Big3 had produced the same.
It reads like a press release. Real people don't rattle the batting average of the NMSFS ratios when extolling virtues of their school. Again, a school with a 100% acceptance rate, no campus in vacant office space and that's owned by a for profit Chinese private equity firm is not even in the same industry as the other independents. |
You seem defensive about any criticisms about the school. Virtually every other school on DCUM has threads with negative comments about them, but no one ever freaks out the way that you do when that happens. |
You must live in an alternate universe. Virtually every thread about other schools where the schools are criticized have parents that rebut the stupid comments. |
Those posters are clearly not the same person obsessed with talking about just this one school on that entire list. That’s my point. |
My point is that they usually rebut on the merits of the criticisms, not with ad hominem attacks like "you seem insecure." Huge difference. |
Or the perennial BIM booster favorite: "Sorry your kid didn't get in!" at a school that is barely selective in its application process and has both rolling admissions and no waiting list. It's comical. |
