Shenandoah u. Ever heard of it?

If I heard a student (young adult) went there, I would assume that they are artistic, musical, and had a situation where college life was comfortable.

It seems expensive, but I don't know about their aid structure. It is a "good for them" kind of school.

I'm not sure about undergrad, but I know the PT program is often rated best/one of the best in Virginia.

Son of a friend from Hampton Roads chose Shenandoah because of their accelerated Pharmacy pathway.

Seems happy with the program.

I'm from the Winchester, VA area. Shenandoah has grown from a college & conservatory to a university.

Along with their performing arts programs, their nursing/pharmacy/allied health programs are very well regarded. The Winchester Medical Center is down the street, and students have opportunities there.

There are accelerated programs for OT, PT, pharmacy, PA, and others.

It is a private school.

I know some kids looking at Shenandoah for the PT program. I had not heard about before these kids were discussing it but they are really excited about the school.

OP, did you have an actual question about the school?

Thumbs down

Well they answered OP’s question.

I think SU is on the rise and a gem of a school.

For us, it was $34k a year. This was after the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant and after their merit scholarship. If I recall, they had 3 levels of merit based on GPA and everyone got some merit.

My DD was in the nursing program which is very popular. Including all her gen ed classes and her tough nursing classes (like Patho and Pharmacology), her class sizes ranged from 8 to 15.

Shenandoah is also well known for their nursing program. They have a very cool e-sports management program and building. And a dedicated virtual reality classroom that is also really neat.

Why do conservatives care so much about pronouns? Unless you’re sensitive to your own gender, it’s such a small thing to say you’re male or female

On the contrary, it’s a small thing to not say it. It’s already obvious.

Because it’s such an unbelievably dumb thing to focus on.

So, then why are conservatives focusing on it? Just telling someone how you like to be addressed isn't focusing on it. The people focusing on it are the people throwing constant tantrums about it, and using it as a reason to avoid a school.

NP. The fact you’ve spent so much time discussing this shows what an idiot you are. Talk about first world problems. Here we are in the US fighting about our pronouns, while the Middle East is about to erupt into civil war. What privileged stupidity.

You’re the one digging up a month-old post to continue the discussion. Just let it go.

I am a liberal who thinks we need to drop all this pronoun nonsense. This is not the battle to fight.
