| Conservative. I could overlook that for the right major. |
What makes you say that? |
It's really not. Trust me on this. Those rankings on niche are complete garbage. |
| Friends DC went there to play basketball. Seems really happy. The family is definitely not conservative. |
|
Conservative these days just means that the kids leading campus tours are not leading with their pronouns.
Shenandoah is also well known for their nursing program. They have a very cool e-sports management program and building. And a dedicated virtual reality classroom that is also really neat. |
Why do conservatives care so much about pronouns? Unless you’re sensitive to your own gender, it’s such a small thing to say you’re male or female |
| Yes. Know several kids from our MCPS school there now, all for music of some sort. I can’t say how they like it as I am not that close to them, but all seem to o be thriving based on the little I see from afar (performances mainly). |
| I've lived here my entire life and never heard of it. |
So? |
Because it’s such an unbelievably dumb thing to focus on. |
So, then why are conservatives focusing on it? Just telling someone how you like to be addressed isn't focusing on it. The people focusing on it are the people throwing constant tantrums about it, and using it as a reason to avoid a school. |
Look, this is just a kindness thing. It's about relating to others. Meeting them where they are. It takes like a second to say "I use x/x pronouns" I cannot with you triggered idiots. |
| I am so happy that my daughter is at a school that has buttons in their admissions office for people to use to share their pronouns. Use them or not - up to you. |
| Yes - good health science program (PT, PA, AT, nursing) know several kids there - athletes and have done very well. Not too far from the NOVA area with a nice walking mall. |
| I know a kid there who plans to be a music teacher. He seems to be doing well. |
