Where to get pants for super skinny boy? (14yo)

He miiiight fit a men’s 28 x 28 but they are so hard to find, and without an adjustable waist, I’d be wary

Have you measured his waist? And does he like to wear his pants on the hips? My son is only 5'7 and 120 lbs, but he needs a 28 by 30, because he doesn't like the pants to sit on his natural waist. You can also just get a 28 x 30 and take them up (yourself or via a tailor).

He's 5'1" and 90#, with a 24" waist - but his legs are proportionally much longer than his torso, so he needs longer length than the kids pants that fit his waist have.

I think I'm going to go back to Old Navy and try the 26x30 this time, and see if I can add some elastic to to the waistband.

They don’t have any labels on the outside so no one would know.

Plus this literally seems like the last of your concerns. Just cut the tag out of you or he is so hung up on the brand...?

He couldn't care less and is also oblivious to what other kids think about clothes. I don't care either, just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be an issue or lead to teasing.

Go to the store and figure out sizing and then order during sales or from "outlet"

OP back with an update -

Children's Place "14 Slim" jeans are just about perfect (long enough! slim enough!) and already have the adjustable elastic waist for fine tuning. I wish I could find more pants from them in this size.

Levi's 510 Men's Skinny Fit 26W x 30L fit very similarly to the CP jeans, only without the adjustable elastic (which I will add).

Old Navy 26W x 30L in the "360 tech stretch" style are pretty close - still a bit loose through the waist/hips/thighs, I will need to add a tiny bit of extra elastic to the back waistband. Plus these are super soft and stretchy for jeans.(Other styles, not tech stretch, were too big.)

Adidas and Puma mens sweatpants size XXS are *perfect*.

Hope this helps someone else!
