SCOTUS even more corrupt than we imagined

Boo hoo hoo. The last few leaks were all right wingers, and we know that because “they couldn’t find out who did it.” In other words: a con. So’s this one. These schmucks are proud of their gross fascism. Weird, gross people.

Sure. I'm sure it's just a coincidence we never got the results of the "internal investigation" over the Dobbs leak. After you nuts were screaming about liberals being the leakers and calling for the heads of the justices who weren't Trump puppets. Then you went silent when it became clear it was your side that leaked it.

I know the identity of the leaker. It was not 'your side' nor was it a liberal justice.

Martha Ann Alito? She and Ginni Thompson are both despicable.

And both Christian nationalists whose spouses won’t admit that they’re compromised justices and unable to practice.

This SCOTUS is a sham.

Yes.

Bought and paid for with dark money, here to legitimize illegitimate and/or illegal actions by Republicans.

We see you, fascists on the Supreme Court. We can’t do anything about you, but we see you. You’re illegitimate. You’re fascists. And history will not be kind to you.

I realize they're living in the "here and now" but what they really care about long-term is their legacy. And that's absolutely shot. There's no reclamation possible.

Some days in the future, 2075, it will come out that both Thomas and Alito sold their votes to the highest bidder.

Um...it's already out. This is known.

Thing is. They could get the opinions without the grift and blatant corruption. While I disagree with the conservative direction of the court, I had at least assumed that they were ethical. I was obviously naive and wrong.

Eh, it was obvious the SC wasn't ethical when the Kavanaugh appointment took place. There was definitely some weird corrupt stuff there.

The fact that Roberts, Kavanaugh, Barrett and Gorsuch were all part of the “Brooks Brothers riot” in 2000 should tell us all we need to know.

True, but in 2075 all the dirty details will be known..

Funny. It was Mitch McConnell’s bullying that gut us this court.

And racism, don’t forget that part. He publicly declared that he’d make sure Obama would never get a 2nd term. When that didn’t happen, he blocked Obama’s SC pick, Merrick Garland. This is all the GOP do, and shut the government down. Is Mitch dead yet?

Clarence Thomas would have resigned at least a decade ago if not for the river of dirty money that was arranged to flow his way when he first started complaining about how he was underpaid. So all of his opinions would not be here without the grift and blatant corruption.

I’m surprised he and Trump don’t hang out together more often. Grifters of a feather.

Government is corrupt?
Say it isn't so!
LMAO!

It's just that you are starting to realize that government and politics in general is bad, not that it is something new.

You are part of the problem. No, government is not bad. Bad people in government is bad. Stop voting for terrible people. We have had way more honorable, ethical SC justices than criminals. The GOP owns the unethical ones.

Also, let's not give them lifetime appointments as well as easier ways to oust unethical judges since impeachment doesn't work.

+1

The GOP nominates only liars and cheats to the Supreme Court, at least for the last 20 years. I don’t think the average schlub GOP voters gets this, but they should understand that once their “justices” are shown to be corrupt, they should call for their ouster.

We could start by having a code of ethics and enforcing it. Once upon a time SCJ were expected to be beyond reproach and generally took this outrageous responsibility seriously so it wasn’t needed. Now we have clowns who whine about not making enough money and who have horrible temperaments like spoiled brats. If they don’t respect their roles, we have to manage them like children.

Well first of all 99.999999% of political candidates ARE bad people. Good people don't want to be in politics tryna tell everyone how to live their lives.
Second of all, you are assuming voting is fair and elections are not rigged. It is asinine to not realize it is mostly rigged.

So perhaps it is you....

Clarence Thomas

The only honorable and intelligent judge on the SC and he's a black man.
That's why the white man is always attacking Clarence Thomas.
Cause he is a strong intelligent black man!
