Unless my spouse was in a catastrophic accident with me they would be the next contact. Then each of my parents, by the time we get to the 4th if nobody else is available we’re probably all doomed anyway. This is all so remote its not worth worrrying about. |
I do this. I use my non-local brother and his cell for my third emergency contact. By the time they're on my third emergency contact it must have really hit the fan. The rest of my list is cobbled together from a retired neighbor I barely know (just moved) and a SAHM friend who lives in Nova but nowhere near us. We just moved but at our school I eventually transitioned to using parents of classmates as a PP suggested. |

I feel like this school might require you to book separate travel. |
knock on their door and introduce yourself |

| I'd do this in a heartbeat for a neighbor even if I didn't know them well. |
| You don't know four parents (or really just two sets) at your child's school? Or any of your neighbors? Do your kids play sports? |
Ok but that's not a criteria. Our emergency bus contacts also all have kids on the same bus. |
Excuse me, criterion. That's what I get for being on DCUM during a conference call. |
lol THIS! Make them up op. I have no contacts for anywhere so I've had to make them up before its real awkward. |

I face this too, a few years ago. I wrote in my husband's name and my name in different ways
middle name, last name - his cell number my middle name, maiden name - my cell number and I also put in a few neighbors who I didn't check with first, as 3rd and 4th because they will NEVER call them. |

I know this seems ridiculous to many of you but there’s a reason it’s required and I’m sure something has happened at that school where they now need four contacts.
I work in a preschool and you have no idea how many times the primary emergency contacts are not reachable so we need to move to emergency contacts. Once I had exhausted all of the emergency contacts and had to start googling the parent’s supervisors phone numbers so I can get a hold of the parents. |
