When will class assignments be out?

Teacher here. My team was in the scenario this past school year. The kids had a long term sub and then a teacher trainee.

What do they learn while the sub is there and how long did the teacher trainee last? Wondering what the success rate is for the trainees.

Luckily the sub was a retired teacher. Honestly the kids would have learned more as the trainee was a mess. They didn’t leave and they are continuing to teach at a different school.

I'm guessing the trainee was thrown to the wolves. That's a rough spot to be in.

No, she was just not good and not 100 percent focused.

I can tell you she was a mess. Our team was extremely organized and communicative. She would be on phone most of the day. She wouldn’t retain info shared. I was a brand new teacher once and was shocked at her lack of retaining knowledge shared, reaching out to appropriate resources, etc. Teachers would try to meet and she would cancel or not show up. We had several trainees at our school and the others were good.

Well thats good....sadly I've seen trainees just left to their own devices and they have left. You can't blame them in those situations.

If you have kids in MS/HS, there is a hack for finding out their schedules now. DD and her friend (in different HS) both found theirs. Not sure if this is final.

Yet again, the AP/DE classes my kid took all conflict with various electives. UGH. So no we'll have to go through the hassle again of picking some random a$$ elective that adds nothing of value just to fill a spot.
