Weird. We had a very good experience buying new at Stohlman Tysons.

What was your experience?

Wanted to buy a new Outback, knew exactly the model, went there to buy it. Started out ok, and quickly negotiated a number we all agreed to. At that point, our case was turned over to some finance type sales manager, and I had to wait in the lobby for nearly three hours. When we finally got into his office, the paperwork he'd prepared was well over the number we'd previously negotiated. At that point I'd had enough and walked out. Unbelievable.

That would piss me off too. Glad you walked. Was it Stohlman Sterling? They were trying to get us to put a deposit on a car they didn’t have in stock. Utter horseshit.

We got Crosstrek at Tyson’s. Agreed on OTD price and picked car up no issues. We were in dealership for the typical couple hours though. Very good process.

The last time we bought a car at Stohlman Tysons, we did everything over email and were in and out under an hour. I'm sure it didn't hurt that I was 8 months pregnant though. I was probably giving off "don't mess with me" vibes.

If you're talking about a used car, CarMax, I guess, as you can bring it back, and they have a warranty. But they're also charging more for the cars, typically, bc of this business model.
