Running shorts and phone

I also suggest the flip belt. It stays in place while you move.

You must be male.

Nope. I’m a small female. Never carry a phone.

Well, then I'll be the woman who has to call police and/or paramedics and/or friends for you.

In 10 years, I've had to call 3x - none for myself. One for a badly injured runner. One for an injured cyclist. And one for a woman who was sexually assaulted.

You know people ran and rode bikes well before the cell phone, right? Some people are comfortable not having a cell phone. Some are not. Take your lame ass lecture elsewhere.

For those of you who don't use a phone, no music? Are you raw dogging your run?

I don’t take my phone with me, but look up the Koala Clip.

Doesn't the phone get sweaty running outdoors in this heat?

Why do people create problems where there aren't any?

Ehh I’ve made it 51 years without one. I can manage.

I have a nano iPod. Yes I’m old. I know and am good with that.

That makes more sense than being alone with your thoughts

I wish they still made these!

OP here.

Some weird responses here...I run in a very public park, so if I need to make an emergency call, I can ask a walker/runner to help. I only want to wear these shorts while it's really really hot out, then I'll go back to the compression shorts. My Garmin has music on it so I don't need the phone. I went ahead and got a pair of Nike Tempo as suggested on the post. I also got a loose tank.

Thanks everyone!

I’m getting tiny koala bears that clip to a pencil.

This is what I do. Armbands slide down and is a pain to get your phone out. Wristbands slide around and just look really unflattering.

I just hold my phone. I like being able to jump around on my playlist. Plus don’t like feeling of phone bouncing up and down in my pocket.

I have an arm band too but prefer the belt as it’s easier to access my phone in case I want to change what I’m listening to or check work emails quickly.

+1 I prefer the running belt too.
