Just be mindful that the wide legs don’t slip to the floor when you use the airport bathroom! Blech… ask me know I know!!

+1

I never wear joggers IRL, but they are the only things I wear traveling as the ankle cuffs keep the hems from hitting the ground. I can't wear leggings for long periods. My skin gets irritated.

Jeans for travel?!?! No thank you. Yoga pants, tank top and a sweatshirt. Flip Flops. I run hot. Pack baby wipes for face and hands. Keep deodorant and a toothbrush in your carry on

Would you consider a dress? Not a maxi length but just below knee? Frank and Eileen have “popover” dresses that I imagine would be very comfortable, maybe more so than pants.

DP, I tried a midi length travel dress for my last trip which had 12-14 hour flights and it worked out really well. Easy to hitch up for the bathroom and comfy while sitting, the feeling of wearing a nightgown.

Looks a little more polished getting on and off the plane too. When I was exiting immigration on the way back in my midi dress, I was asked for the first time ever, "Where are you flying from?!" (Tokyo).

I don't typically wear leggings in public, but they are so comfortable that I'm tempted to wear them on my upcoming long flight.

Vuori joggers, cotton tee, hoodie.

I really like this Aday pullover and most of their fabrics are wrinkle free and built for comfort. https://www.thisisaday.com/products/like-a-boss-sweatshirt-moss?_pos=7&_sid=188f2398d&_ss=r

Frank and Eileen has grown up versions of the Amazon sets that look much more polished. https://www.frankandeileen.com/collections/essentials/products/greece-travel-set-black?_pos=3&_fid=8f0893066&_ss=c

The F&E sets look much worse in person than online and are horribly overpriced.

Same. The hoodie is key because I can pull it over my eyes a bit as a makeshift sleep mask.

Why do you think there was any connection between your attire and that question?

I’ve done lots of long flights including from Asia and never have been asked.
Could be a coincidence.
Could be related to not wearing sweatpants and T shirt. But even I notice travellers wearing dresses, they look more….well, dressy.

+1 I have been asked this on most international flights. Your dress was the factor.

I only wear leggings on flights. I prioritize comfort not what other people think of me!
