DP, I tried a midi length travel dress for my last trip which had 12-14 hour flights and it worked out really well. Easy to hitch up for the bathroom and comfy while sitting, the feeling of wearing a nightgown.

Looks a little more polished getting on and off the plane too. When I was exiting immigration on the way back in my midi dress, I was asked for the first time ever, "Where are you flying from?!" (Tokyo).[/quote]

I’ve done lots of long flights including from Asia and never have been asked.
Could be a coincidence.
Could be related to not wearing sweatpants and T shirt. But even I notice travellers wearing dresses, they look more….well, dressy.[/quote]
