It OP, but Mine are digging tunnels around the base of the front stoop/steps and they are starting to separate from the house. They are also digging under the brick patio that takes a good portion of the back yard and it’s own completely caved in and a huge, dangerous and very expensive hazard. So cute animals to you, but rodent terrorists to my home.

Poisons sold for residential use are quick, which is why they don't harm predators. It's the poisons sold for commercial use that are slow and get into the food chain. At the point they're eating my car, I'd poison.

If you still don't want poison, there is a powder repellent called Repells All that works well, not sure exactly how to apply to your car but we put it under our porch. You could also try the ultrasonic repellers, and peppermint oil.

Our mechanic suggested a product called Grandpa Gus. It looks like a tea bag or sachet. You can put them under the hood of your car or in discreet places outside and it works as a repellent for rodents.

This. We have used this method a lot and will need to use it again unfortunately.

They can chew electric wires causing fires. OP call the local SPCA.

I cannot imagine doing this or watching them struggle. Same kinds of people think nothing of poisoning dogs with meat treat. Sick behavior.

Hopefully chipmunks get OP first.
