Three Futsal "Nationals"

Was at the Orlando event, first time for me at a Futsal tourney and was super impressed with how well it was run. 20 courts with games running from 8am-7pm, adult refs on every court and digital score keeping/goal stat tracking for individual players.

The individual foot-skills of the kids on the top teams there were frankly phenomenal. Much more of an opportunity to show-out than you'll ever have in an outdoor setting for kids with that elite skill-set. Very entertaining.

Only hot button issue that perhaps wasn't handled the best were two obvious bio males playing in an all girls division. Option was given to decline to play but after proceeding thankfully there weren't any injuries due to the size/strength discrepancy.

I know two kids who went to Vegas. One came home with Covid and the other with a broken foot.

Let me give you a word of advice, Not everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Kids were there. Great competition. Definitely many good teams there. Ref was ok. We had one game that ref didn’t call much of anything but in general it was well run. Looking forward to go back next year.
