Same! I love this stuff. I use it at night on non-tretonin days. I use it in the morning before my Elta Md SPF lotion.

Same exact routine, except I also use it on trentinoin nights (I actually sandwich with it on trentinoin nights)- curious what moisturizer you use on your tretinoin night?

I used to use the Cerave PM on tret nights too, but now I only use tret and no moisturizer. My skin isn’t dry so I have found I don’t miss it. I’m on the lowest tret though, perhaps I need to look into upping the percentage now that my skin seems to handle it well!

Have you tried the Nivea in the morning if it is working well at night? I have combo skin so don't need a heavy moisterizer during the day typically, but I really like Derm E excezma relief at night. It is a heavier cream but not as heavy as the nivea. That trader joe's sunscreen is garbage and could be irritating. You may find a mineral sunscreen less irritating. I like Australian Gold.

Morning: CE ferulic serum, Trader Joe’s facial sunscreen

What moisturizer should I use?
Any hydro gel type I’ve tried burns like heck.
I’ve been slathering on Nivea cream in the evening but need some moisturizer for mornings.

Overall dry skin that’s now more sensitive with Tretinoin use

All those hydro gels burn like fire! I think they’re just not for eve fry one.

Also, Vitamin C should be in the morning with the CE ferulic serum.

After my serums, I mix a few drops of The Ordinary’s squalene with the most basic Cetaphil in the mornings (https://a.co/d/9kjlxq6). Then follow with Trader Joe’s supergoop dupe SPF. It’s been a great combo for me.

CE ferulic IS a vitamin C serum, and a super potent one at that. You do not need an additional vitamin C serum and certainly not at night with tret. That is way too much

You're right, sorry! I did not pay attention to the "CE" ... and agree that is too much. (And not what I use, fwiw.)
