Chocolate addiction

I eat low carb chocolate spread (like nutella, but less sugar). One heaping spoonful kills the craving.

And I'm a chocolate addict, too.

Fairlife is 50% less sugar and 50% more protein than regular milk. Yes, it still has some sugar; but it's not like drinking Quick.

Getting lot of good ideas here.

Its true when I have a piece of dark chocolate, I feel satiated wheres I keep wanting more than a piece of milk chocolate.
So dark chocolate it is.
Will start keeping house free of milk chocolate or at least not accessible to me easily.

I come home for lunch and thats where most of my chocolate craving starts, right after the meal. I will do dark chocolate.

Good luck, OP! Let us know how it goes and what you find helpful!
I was never a big chocolate milk fan; but I recently tried Fairlife chocolate milk and am now a big fan. It has more sugar than the white milk; but at least it has the higher protein content of Fairlife to go along with it. It is very chocolatey and like drinking instant chocolate pudding before it sets. There are probably other chocolate flavored protein drinks or breakfast drinks that taste similarly(?) Maybe that will satisfy a craving?

I tried chocolate milk that doesnt satisfy the craving.

I just opened my new dark chocolate .

Not pushing chocolate milk, but wondering what kind you've tried? Fairlife is higher protein and less sugar than regular milk and it is very chocolatey.
I hope you find a solution with the dark chocolate. It definitely made a difference for me.

OK. Don't drink it if you don't want. It's added some variety to my options and my diabetes nutritionist is the one who suggested it.

But you do have a lot of willpower not to unlock it!

mentioning the kSafe again. You can not Unlock it once you have set the timer. It's a great system. Look it up if I didn't explain it well enough in an earlier post.

Couldn’t you just leave some sugary snacks outside the ksafe? Or just run to 7-11?

If you don't want strategies, no one can help you.

I went cold turkey because of rosacea and prediabetes concerns, and when I truly didn't miss it anymore, I reintroduced some of it on social occasions (birthday cake) or for certain snacks that contain nuts, fruit and chocolate. I don't crave it anymore, so I eat very little.

Previously I used to have a huge vat of dark hot chocolate DAILY (hangs head in shame).

Op here.
I did dark chocolate last 2 days, and it works.

Then today I bought a Twix because I needed to get some cash out at the grocery store.
Gosh , I am a terrible chocolate addict.

LOL. Next time, at least make it one of those dark chocolate Milky Ways! Or some dark chocolate covered almonds.

For those who drink chocolate milk, why not just make a chocolate smoothie? Just blend a Keto/low carb chocolate mix with unsweetened. plant-based milk and ice. You won't miss choc. milk.

Don’t blame yourself, they’re trying to keep you addicted. But ask yourself, could you have gone to an atm?

It was me that wrote the initial question to the ksafe. I am a sugar addict. The only thing that works for me is zero tolerance. I fall off the wagon here and there like everyone else.
