Or i guess by Monday |
I think they’re saying the scores will be available by next week even though the rest of the email is written like they’re already there. The second sentence references the week of June 24th. My kids already have their screener scores (these were actually posted weeks ago) but no SOL. |
Quit bringing facts here please. |
That is correct. He stated that no scores could be posted until all grade levels completed their make-up tests and that the earliest scores would be available is 6/24. |
5th grade math SOL is factored into 6th grade math placement. |
Thank you, APS message whisperer. |

Ours are up now |
What exactly are you planning to do with the SOL data now…before you receive the placement letter? |
SOL scores (elementary) are up! |
Middle School too |
Can they retake them over the summer or the start on next school year? DS didn't do very well and with sports and other activities wasn't able to prepare. |
No, they take the next year’s SOL. There’s not really prep needed for SOL tests, it’s just the content for the year. |
and...??? |
I'm not sure how to interpret IRW SOL report (5th grade).
I think "Item descriptor and SOL measured" indicate 6 multiple choice questions, and whether the student answered correctly or incorrectly. For written response scores, the rubrics chart provided by APS only goes up to 4 (=advanced), while "# points possible" on the report is 8. So, anything between 4 and 8 points is considered "advanced"? |
