| The workers and the tipping did me in. The workers were very pretentious and would look down on my normal coffee order. They’re also really unhappy people in general. |
Nope. Pretty sure you imagined this. |
| I don't understand the question. Starbucks was never premium. It's always been mass marketing. |
I actually prefer McDonalds coffee to Starbucks. It's not burnt. |
| It’s cancer causing. |
1) I didn’t even know it had a political stance 2) where do you buy coffee? I would like to say I’d opt for the independent coffee shop if I’m near one but actually I care most about predictability and efficiency, and Starbucks has that. I’m not trying to spend 10 minutes getting a coffee. I actually go to Starbucks way more now with the app, because I never wanted to stand in line and I dislike ordering verbally. |
| Not only does Starbucks not taste good but it hasn’t been “premium” in eons. They are inside every Target, grocery store and strip mall. |
K cup machine? Ocean killer. It’s easy to make brewed coffee at home without plastic waste. |
Are all the people complaining about sugar unaware of how to order non sugary drinks? |
|
Oh look more bible thumping judgment
As of right now today we live in the US you are free to go to whatever coffee place you want or not. In 2025 you will no longer have that privilege. You think this is not related think again. Listen to the traitors when they speak. |
You can still order a short, which is a normal cup of coffee and smaller than a tall. |
| I stopped going in 2010. |
| It's good for what it is. Kind of decent coffee available in places without out better options. |
| I don't think it was ever " premium" OP...just a place for people to grab a coffee on the go or a. place to meet up + not spend a lot (as opposed to a full meal). |
| The pink drink is really good though. I had it on a whim stuck at the airport and would certainly get it on a summer afternoon while shopping. |
