I am not a 2028 parent and I asked the original question because I am an ISL parent. This is about ISL 2025 which includes both comings and goings from ISL teams among other things.

What about WCAC? Isn't this thread both WCAC and ISL?

Technically, no, but I’d love to hear about that as well.

It's called "2025 Girls Lax WCAC ISL Outlook" - read the top.

It's definitely a thread about WCAC as well.

My understanding is:

GC--despite losing the top player in the area and several other outstanding seniors, they are still the team to beat by a wide margin. They started Sophomores and a Freshman or two on a totally dominant squad, and also have a solid incoming class.

SJC--Apparently dealing with the loss of 6 senior starters, including a tremendous starting middie line, and, now the WCAC 2023 Coach of the Year. While there is talent in the program, and a good incoming class from multiple clubs, this appears to be a rebuilding year.

BI--Losing 4 Capital Blue starters. No word on incoming class.

PVI--Losing a strong attacker, but a younger team that could improve in 2025.

You should stop after 8 teams. It falls off a cliff after those 8. Assume missing SSSAS was an oversight.

My honest mistake. Carry on.

..... WCAC is literally in the subject line along with ISL so it makes sense both leagues would be covered in the thread.

I think the poster left SSSAS off intentionally.

Does GC have a big incoming class? Who do these girls currently play for.

No way poster put Holy Child in the fake poll over SSSAS. That’s a 10 goal game.

I’d put them like this for next year based on graduation, returning players, etc.

I don’t have an issue with these rankings. I’ll add that 3-8 could all beat each other on the right day. None of them are likely to beat 1 or 2 though.

Only had one senior so it seems like with the right coaching they could be strong next year since some of the Pride girls are already there

One can hope. They really deserve better coaching.
