Einstein course offerings

Einstein not only has more limited STEM classes, but totally ditched their "tech" pathway as of next year, which included higher-level technology/engineering type classes. I guess they figure kinds who are interested in that stuff can go elsewhere.

I'm a different poster. Which school is your kid going to next year? I'd be interested in hearing about curriculum. We still have a ways to go (DS is finishing 3rd grade now) but we're zoned for Einstein and he loves math and science. Hoping he does compacted math next year.

We ranked Blair/Wheaton/Northwood and he was placed at Northwood but then got into the magnets, so will be going to Blair STEM.

OP here again. Another wrinkle is that we might be moving during this whole process, probably within the DCC area (we are renting). The timing of the moving is uncertain. If we move after the DCC choice process is done but before 9th grade starts, does my kid keep the placement they got, or do/can they start over?
