We are in the same situation. We need to know one way or another to be able to decide. I hope they sent an email soon.

Hate to say it but this seems to be par for the course for Potomac. For years they’ve had problems with communication generally as a club, continuity on teams year to year, losing tons of players and being unsure on offers until the rejections roll in, etc.

If it’s this hard to know where you stand, take it as a sign that maybe it’s not the right fit for you. If the program/coach was good at communicating and wanted you, you would have heard rather than sit in purgatory until maybe they need you.

our U11 got an offer the same day as the tryout... a few hours later that evening

Looks like they are fast with the invitations, not so with letting everyone know about their status.

Exactly, compared to people who wait and wait. They’re most likely only a backup plan as the rejections roll in.

Hi! Current PSA parent here. I know they switched to a new system and there have been some delays in the invites due to technical issues. Folks I know were able to log into the account and see the offer even though an email hadn't been received. I would email them today - Laurie Lane is super responsive.

I agree with PP 12:40. The club is clearly dealing with a backlog and I understand some problems with technology also. We tried out last week, sent an email and had a super useful response and phone call to follow up. Happy to wait after discussion, I was assured all offers would be sent out this week.

Still waiting as well on U11 and U12 invitations. Received a phone call after tryouts and was promised an offer was on the way but nothing yet.
