+1 for U South Carolina

South Carolina is not USC. USC = white horse and LA.

south carolina is south carolina
In Virginia, Maryland, and DC, USC is South Carolina

Not in my house.

USC (South Carolina) existed before CA was a state.

irrelevent. USC is University of S Cal and U So
Carolina was UofSC until lastyear. Now there are two USCs. You could have googled that

Relevant because U South Carolina has a legitimate claim, they were there first. Regardless, both schools claim USC.

Actually, I've always seen it as U of SC here. USC is Cali.

This is true for the wealthy and poor. For families with HHI between $200K and $400K, and especially those without large 529s, no financial aid from higher ranked schools makes UVA a great deal. Lots of families make that trade off.

A family on 200k, especially without large 529 or savings will get aid at a T20.

Also, are you really saying that anyone making under 200k is poor? Sheesh!

When people say USC it's 99% chance the one in Cali.

Even parole in VA, MD, and DC are not really interested in South Carolina.

My kid got around 30K and COA was just little over $40K in reality at Northeastern.

Just little more than UVA, so got out of VA.
