when my daughter is out in town and had a drink getting a call saying “can you pick me up from McDonald’s” isn’t much help. There’s about 12 in our city. I track her, I pick her up, and hopefully she doesn’t 🤮 in my car!
Ps she’s 21 so not technically a kid

Your 21-year-old with a smartphone is incapable of telling you where the McDonald’s is?

How is life 360 better than Find my? Find my seems good enough to me.

How is any of this different than Find my Friends on an iphone?

So many people have opinions about stuff that they shouldn't have. Just because people have that so they know where their kids are doesn't mean they are lacking in the parent department. And like the other person I saw on here my daughter signed me up too I think it makes her feel better and I know it makes me feel better I am not spying on her but know a little bit about where she is in case she needs me. So I don't think it is a bad thing.

I really like Life360 and it works really well for both Android and Apple users.
We have kids at 3 different schools and school bus service can be dicey, especially at the beginning of the year. One kid takes Metro bus which is better but can also run late. It's also helpful to see if the school bus is actually getting them to school on time.
It's easy to quickly glance at the app to see where everyone in the family is at the moment.

My husband has a medical condition and this let's both of us feel safer. Also have a friend, who is a truck driver in our circle. He was in an accident and life360 allowed us to find him and send police and ambulance to his location. We all like having the app.

This app has been a lifesaver and I like the fact that it is not too intrusive

My family uses it, too, and we like it for keeping track of one another.

I was recently in a car accident, and it was severe enough that my car was totaled, but my husband didn't get an alert of any kind to tell him. So I guess it isn't always reliable.

Responding to idiots is time consuming and before social media is something we generally stopped doing in hs

We use the FREE version and it alerted us when my son hit a tree at 89 mph. He passed. I will continue to use the app. It allowed me to be with him during his last moments. As idiotic as you sound, I hope you never have to go through something like that.
