| i literally have a side Hustle -- I'm a dance instructor. Do It! |
| I track down hard-to-get items and re-sell. Years ago I did this primarily with sneakers, camping out the day before release, stuff like that. But the advent of online sales changed things, so I've had to adapt, so I do mostly "hot" toys around the holidays and video game systems. I still find it fun, though. Tracking down the inside info of when something is going to be stocked and then being there to snap it up is a thrill. |
It makes you feel good that you price out families who can’t afford your mark-up? Very unethical. |
This is not a side hustle this is just being a jerk. |
| OP don't even try the ebay route I speak from experience it's a nightmare all the fees and all the people shopping there thinking you are amazon and if they complain about perfectly amazing brand new stuff they can get it for free. |
| eBay's a great way to make a little money off old things laying around the house that still have some value. But in terms of using eBay as a distribution channel for a business selling new things, I agree it'd be hard to earn a profit. |
| I'll save you some trouble avoid ebay like the plague that it is! |
