+1 All that makes me want is to know what it looked like before and who owned it.

The current building was built on top of the original house. You can still see the original house on the bottom of the current house.

You can still see the original shack on the bottom!

That made my head hurt.

It looks like a spaceship.

Of course they are middle eastern…..

Objectively the house is quite awful, odd proportion and weird color choices.

That being said, I do love it. Looks modern/futuristic. I surprisingly like the red bathroom and red accents. Would I pay $2m for this? Hell no (unless I had a ton of money, which I do not). But I do like it

It looked better as a shack.

It just feels South Asian to me.

The red bathrooms and accents deeply creep me out. I just couldn't. But I do love the overall architecture generally.

We lived in an Arabian Gulf State and it reminds of bad (not good) architecture that you might find there. It wouldn't look out of place at all with palms around it. I haven't looked deeply at the photos, but it seems to have nice light. To me, it presents dark from the outside, better from the inside.

Ugly. No privacy on those windows.

Planning a murder? This might be the place for you. Cleanup will be easy.

That's ridiculous. Were they required to keep it intact because of historical preservation codes?

The shack is actually where the owner kept his prisoners.
