I am old, but no CD players in luxury cars?

Yes you are old. We have a 2014 car with a CD player, but we don't own any CDs so I always wonder why it's there.

Treat yourself to a Spotify account. It has all the 90s rap you want to hear.

My 2015 car has a CD player. I've used it a few times over the years but since the car has blue tooth as well, I mostly just use Apple Music. It's kind of pointless to bring CDs with me in the car when I don't have to.

We still use CDs. Refuse to pay for unlimited data or Spotify or Apple Music or ... CD player was included in our 2019 car, was included not an option.

That's a great idea. I'm tired of paying for music over and over again.

I have a CD player in my 2016 Explorer. I used it just a few weeks ago. Like you, I refuse to pay for any music service.

Sounds like a lot of work to make things way harder, when you can just open Spotify and click on your "Larlo's driving playlist" when you turn the car on.

Spotify, You Tube music, Pandora etc. Why should anyone have to pay for the "privilege" of being able to listen to music while they drive? Especially if they already have a CD collection of music that they like sitting at home?

My 2016 Lincoln has a CD player so I’ll drive it into the ground.

I am 53 and have YouTube Premium. I listen to my playlists in the car. Bonus: It never runs out of songs for me to play. I have been driving a lot, and often 11, 11-hour trips from Canada to the U.S. keep me always having something to listen to.
DH is even older, and I gave him YouTube Premium as a birthday present, and he liked it first. Before that, I had Amazon music, but it did not play what I liked, and I would be stuck to a CD-like choice.
Don't be that stuck in the mud, old person; embrace the gifts of the digital age.

Indeed most Subaru buyers are middle-aged women. It's why after purchasing, they contact you a week or two later for a follow-up session to make sure you know how all the stuff in your car works.

Our fairly new Impreza has one as well. I like having it. We don't use it day to day, but on long trips we do, rather than my husband trying to navigate my playlists and find something we both want to hear. He actually got me some new CDs for Christmas and we broke them out on our first road trip.

What is rip a CD?

Lololol. You’re not old, you are ancient. CD players have been obsolete for like the last 20+ years.

Why don’t they sell VCRs at Bestbuy!?
