If it matters, he is half Jewish, so he does have some Jewish stock in his ancestry. And the hair is natural, so he does have a natural look like Jesus.

Jesus was not good looking, and his skin was dark.

2004 The Passion of Christ - Jim Caviezel

And then before that was probably Jesus Christ superstar in the 70s, so we’ve got another couple decades before another mainstream one, if there is another.

Silly article. Dismisses the one image widely believed actually to represent Jesus’ appearance, but quotes allegory from Revelation as authoritative despite it conflicting (white hair) with the supposition that Jesus would’ve looked like modern-day Semites.

No one know what he looked like. That’s not accidental. And don’t forget, he had only one “earthly” parent.

? I'm sorry, what?

The quotes are not from Revelation; most of the description of the coming Christ is from the Old Testament.

Probably not. Any dark skin you find in the Levant came from Arabian Peninsula colonizers. Lebanese, Christian Palestinians, Syrians, Druze... not any darker than Jews. In fact, when you find dark-skinned Jews, that's because of mixing with people outside the Levant.

There was a Twitter account that featured Hezbollah fighter martyr images and cracked jokes about how Jewish they all look. Because they do.
