I'd pick Northeastern or Georgetown.

lol...these are completely different types of school. Foreign service, law or finance, Georgetown. CS or engineering, Northeastern. SMU I have heard good things about their business school.

I could give many specific examples but instead will note that I was in a sorority at UT and spent way too much time a frat parties and could count on my fingers the number of times I saw drugs in college. At SMU, they’re everywhere:

There’s someone who posts this pretty much word for word, every time SMU comes up. This may be your experience, but I attended both SMU and UT, and my experience was the exact opposite. I heard rumors of drugs at SMU, but never saw any or had friends who used, while I knew people at UT who paid their way through by dealing drugs. I think it’s just all anecdotal.

I ran into a SMU grad (the law school) and her mom in London on vacation two weeks ago —

My god both were beautiful

I also know a really nice mother/daughter pair who both attended SMU and yes, they are very beautiful. And looking at the sorority pics the daughter shared with me, all her sorority sisters seem to be as well, or very, very well groomed so as to give that effect. My good-looking but slightly disheveled DD would have to have a different personality transplanted into her to fit in.

More beautiful mother-daughter anecdotes would be appreciated (gulp…is it getting hot in here or is it just me?).
