No. She DARVO’d that man for years. There was only so much abuse that he could take. His response to her years ago was the classic reaction of someone snapping after years of narcissistic abuse. But she was able to play victim since she had the money and fame.

She is a manic mess now and can no longer keep it together as often as she could before. PP with the details on her having constant turmoil in her relationships was spot on.

Jason was really passive aggressive with her. She was straight up abusive to him. She didn’t want to visit his parents, didn’t want them to come visit, made fun of them, didn’t want his friends to come over. They were so incompatible…the relationship never made sense.

Assistants who used to be your best friend/then you’ve had at least two never speak to you again
Various business partners
Really, it’s all these people, always, and it’s never you?

She seems transparently insufferable and unstable after seeing her on TV for 5 minutes. Why is she [still] famous? Why do people [still] pay attention to her?

I haven’t listened to the podcast but I did watch her spin-off, a million years ago. It was obviously a long time ago, but I remember having the impression that she just didn’t seem to like being married. It seemed like she latched onto Jason because he was stable, but the whole thing got old for her quickly.

I remember some episode where she was basically talking about how much she was struggling with the fact that he wanted his parents to spend some time with the baby. I know that in-law visits can be quite taxing, believe me, but taken in context of everything, it just seemed like she had no desire to be part of a larger, functioning family. I’d imagine that a functioning family was probably triggering for her, given how she grew up.

In another episode, she was crying about how Jason basically told her she was damaged and how she thought that was so over the top of him. He was probably at the end of his rope. Like someone else pointed out upthread, she’s burned through many many many people.

Truth hurts. He was only saying what every viewer of these stupid shows knew. She's fit for a nuthouse.

She is one of the most hostile individuals I have ever come across. Truly. The intensity of her anger is very very high and my guess is that some of it was temperamental and obviously, some of it was her upbringing and her mirroring/identifying with the people around her. My guess is her parents were personality disordered. She has that flavor as well. And she knows it and has to live with herself. I hope she is in treatment because she needs it.

Her social media and podcast rantings document she’s not. She is unhinged.
