That is correct - it replaces one year of world history. So my kid is taking

9th grade - honors world history
10th grade - AP Human Geography
11 grade - AP US history
12th grade - government


I would keep AP World if you have a college bound kid.


+1 Geo is going to replace 9th grade honors world, not AP world

Right. The sequence is supposed to be AP Human Geo, AP World, AP USH, AP Govt.

It's exciting for our college bound kids to stop being pushed into repetitive classwork and stuck in honors classes. Hoping my younger kids get this opportunity for science, too. The required sequence is a waste of time for my children.
