Our counselor said you could take either AP world OR Ap human geography. Meaning, AP Human Geography could be subbed for one of the two world history requirements. Is that wrong?
That is correct - it replaces one year of world history. So my kid is taking 9th grade - honors world history 10th grade - AP Human Geography 11 grade - AP US history 12th grade - government
I would keep AP World if you have a college bound kid.
+1 Geo is going to replace 9th grade honors world, not AP world
Right. The sequence is supposed to be AP Human Geo, AP World, AP USH, AP Govt. It's exciting for our college bound kids to stop being pushed into repetitive classwork and stuck in honors classes. Hoping my younger kids get this opportunity for science, too. The required sequence is a waste of time for my children.
