Is it possible for me to lose 15lb by mid-June?

It’s possible. You need to lower your calories. I’d kick it off with some Swiss Kriss for momentum/motivation.

Let's lean on science and math for this.

You need to figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate which is how many calories per day your body burns just to keep itself alive (i.e., if you laid in bed for 24 hours). I'm a semi-muscular 210 Lb man so I also add 200 calories to this number for the additional burn of moving about a normal day (without formal exercise). For me the total caloric expenditure of my body is about 2200 calories per day. So if I eat 2200 calories per day and don't engage in formal exercise then I will break even and will neither gain nor lose weight. From this break even point I can plan a caloric deficit per day to lose weight, which for me is 2200 minus whatever I burn when exercising (usually 500-800 calories) plus how many less calories I eat below 2200. So let's say I want to run a 1000 calorie deficit per day. One way is to eat 1700 calories (500 less than break even) and also burn an additional 500 through exercise. I would lose 2 pounds per week with a 1000 calorie deficit per day.

In your case you have 15 pounds to lose in about 70 days. If a pound of fat is equivalent to approx 3500 calories then you need to achieve a total caloric deficit of 52,500 over that 70 days. So 52,500 calories/70 days = 750 calories/day. So you need to run a 750 calorie deficit per day on average. Totally doable but you need to figure out that starting number which is based on gender, age, height, and weight. There are online calculators for this. Good Luck! You can effin do it!!
