What’s your best meal for 10 when you just can’t

Costco has a really nice taziki sauce for gyros. Brown some ground lamb or beef (I'm not a purist) or shredded chicken, onion and minced garlic. When ready to assemble, heat up the meat and set out with pitas, sauce, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onion. Also have a Greek salad assembled, and roast a tray of cut up potatoes sprinkled with garlic salt and pepper. If convenient, I'd personally pick up some baklava for dessert to give it the right touch.

I am not a fan of bagged salads.

OP I like the taco idea. If you include lots shredded romaine, folks can choose to make a taco salad. Hard to mess up taco meat. You could do chicken and beef. Also if there are leftovers, the tacos still work.

Is this the taziki sauce in the refrigerated section?

I'm here for almost anything Costco but I've not even been tempted to try the Gyros. If someone tells me they're good, I might give them a try. Any other pre made Costco stuff that you'd bring to a quasi-event with adults?

The stuffed peppers.

Ha I always pause at those and have never picked them up. I always think oh I can make that — and never do of course.

Just make one thing : Lasagna .

Leftover ground beef can be used to make a mini Taco stand with fix ins (tacos, cheese, lettuce/tomato, taco sauce and sour cream)

Then, buy rotisserie chicken from the store. Shred some of that to be an option for chicken tacos.

The rest of the rotisserie chicken serve with salad, corn on the cob, or mashed potatoes

Does the Italian Store or similar sell premade frozen entrees like lasagne, eggplant, chicken parm? I thought I’ve seen the
But on the online menu.

Send your DH to costco frozen aisle, buy some frozen crap, throw in the cooler, and he can bake it at the cabin. Not your problem. He's a big boy.

Costco Mac and cheese in the deli section is really good.

I came on to say this. For the sides our family would do: mac and cheese, baked beans and maybe a salad. Those can be easily purchased at a grocery store and transported in a cooler. Frozen or refridgerated mac n cheese, big cans of baked beans, bagged salad. If you can find pretzel buns for the sandwiches those make it that much better.

The stuffed peppers are good! I would think 2 of the giant chicken pot pies would work. They also have enchiladas, but I am picky about those and haven't tried them.

I'd do two trays of enchiladas:

1) Shredded chicken, cream cheese, and a can of chopped green chiles. Use canned green enchilada sauce for this one, top with while cheddar or jack cheese.

2) Shredded zucchini (squeeze out excess water), sautee with onions and a can of black beans. Top with canned red enchilada sauce and orange cheddar.

They do, through their catering menu.

DP: the street tacos are a winner but the gyros are gross.

They’re really good, even my picky. Kid likes them a lot. I need to find a recipe that’s close to Costco’s because I would definitely make a big batch of them every two or three weeks. We don’t get to Costco that often.
