She said the fajitas and wraps aren’t that good, the tacos are “mid”, and the chicken wings really really good. She ate her packed lunch and got wings today. She says she won’t have the cheese sticks tomorrow, although she really likes them and probably will. |

By MS, I tend to send a fully packed lunch. Alternately, I'll send a few supplements if they want to grab something hot, like chicken tenders or mozzarella sticks.
Even my my most veggie-loving kid says that the fruit and vegetable offerings are old, bruised and generally gross. Supplements from home are typically fresh fruits and pre-cut veg, along with some protein like yogurt, cheese, nuts/nut butters, hummus, etc. that go with the fruits and veggies. |
