No one who loves someone immensely, would consider it an issue. They'll be glad they have love of their life and don't even have to wear heels to fake looking tall.

My husband and I are both 5’10” and I love that we are a perfect fit! I rarely wear heels higher than 1” as they hurt my feet.

I'm 5" taller than my husband without shoes and still wear heels.

I don't wear heels to be taller. I'm already taller than 99% of people I meet. Heels elongate the legs, they change your posture, and also your overall shape. Dressing a lovely outfit down with a flat dowdy shoe is just the worst. Even more so when done for other people or to meet some kind of social expectation.

My wife and I are the same height (5'11"), and I think she is super hot in heels even though she is much taller than me when wearing them. No problem in my eyes.
