No, why would we?
We left a binder with all the info about appliances etc... The sellers we bought from did that as well. |
+1 |
Nope - Just a note/card... enjoy and here is where all the owners manuals are. |
I left a bottle of champagne and a framed picture of the home from when it was first built. It was a special place and I hope the new owners love it as much as I did. |
+1 in a notebook. Also provided the manf. instructions and various service and vendor contracts we'd used. Next owners can add to it, subtract from it, and pass along. |
Had the place deep cleaned after move out, put manuals and keys on the kitchen counter, and left a nice note with our favorite places (including kids camps & activities) in the neighborhood. |
We left a bottle of wine and a gift card to a local carry out place with a note |
We left a card and a bottle of Veuve. |
This is the REAL gift that keeps on giving. Great work, PP! |
This is what I would want, not cheap alcohol. |
No seller left anything. They did get home professionally deep cleaned. |
We rented back to our sellers and when we moved in, they left the house a mess (not broom swept by any stretch of the imagination) and the yard was an overgrown mess. Evidently they decided that since they didn't own it any longer, it was our problem. So we refused to return their deposit. |
A bottle of Dom and a note wishing them well plus spare floorboards, tile and paint, manuals for appliances, etc. Our first sellers left nothing but the appliance manuals. Current house was a new build. They gave us a bottle of cheap wine and a short guide to some of the systems plus all of the manuals for the appliances they installed. |
We throw away the paint after a few years, but we save the labels and put them in a binder with appliance receipts and warranties. |
