Sellers - do you leave a gift/card for new owners?

Wow, that is above and beyond!

Now that I'm a seller for the first time, I was wondering about doing something similar. Have you ever left something behind for a new owner? Nice chocolates? Card? Or nothing?
We left tp in rather bathrooms, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen and a new shower curtain.

Sellers left their half used pantry contents—potato’s, olive oil, and their junk shelves in the basement but also forgot to take their basement condenser. They left us an undisclosed broken water heater, a leaky ceiling, a broken toilet and massive lies in their disclosure.

That’s why you hire an inspector.

This! our owner left this too. Not just that they gave us their contact info and over the last 3 years we've actually become good acquaintances. We've pinged them numerous times about small things in the house and they've always been super helpful to us. Some homeowners are just nice.

Yes a note plus beer and wine.

No, nor have we received anything from sellers. Our last sale (actually my mother's house, not ours) the buyers wanted a few items of furniture in the house which was good since it meant we didn't have to get rid of it, so I guess that was a welcome gift.

Left a pile of keys that may or may not work some random locks.

I’ve purchase half dozen homes and never has any seller given anything. But some have left trash.

I leave a very clean house.

I left all the appliance and systems manuals in one drawer, a list of all the service people that I had used, a closet full of wine (we're not drinkers, all gifted), a roll of tp in each bathroom and a deep cleaned home.

The wife of the couple we bought from did something similar for us - look out for this or that, make sure to do xyz in this season, gave us their contact info at the new address, etc. It was really helpful because we were basically kids who had never owned our own home before.
