Just came back from voting and one of the poll workers mentioned that more people are asking for Republican ballots than would be normal for that precinct, according to their typical demographics.

PP is wrong about a lot of this, but it is true that she would vote very similarly to trump. They both want abortion bans, they would both make social security cuts (trump is a liar when he said he wouldn't; his budget includes cuts), they both want more deportations, etc. A lot of republicans want to distance themselves from Trump (understandably because he is the unhinged worst) but their actual votes are right in line with what he wants. They are extremely undemocratic and are promoting christian nationalism. I would 100% prefer Nikki Haley to trump since I prefer our leaders at least have some decorum (and I can actually stand to listen to her speak) but practically speaking, life as an American wouldn't be that much different with Haley as president.
